Welcome to my party.
I want to tell you a little bit about myself.
I am a wife, mother of 11 children (6 boys and 5 girls), and grandmother to 13 beautiful grand babies. My passion is sewing, cooking/baking, and just about anything that I can make with my hands. I am in my 40's and have loved every minute of it. I just hope my 50's will be just as good. After raising 11 children, and with one left to raise, life is getting so much easier. We still have 3 living at home that "need" me sometimes. I guess it's always good to still be needed.
So come on in and visit awhile.
The table is set, there is even a spot for the little ones, there always is in this house.
Can I serve you up a slice of cake? Here is the recipe for this wonderful Pastel Cake.
I would like you to meet the newest addition to our family....Sadie our Chocolate Lab. She has been just a joy to have. Here she is in her favorite spot, by the wood stove.
I'd like you to meet my me and my girls.
I'd also like you to meet my boys (my DH is the one with the hat). Sorry this picture is a couple of years old, I didn't have a recent photo of all of them together.
If you want to see everyone including in-laws and grandchildren, go to My Family Album on the left side bar.
Thanks for coming to my party.

Sadie is too cute. Thanks for the party!

11! 11? Hmmm...11. I suppose I'm almost half way there. ;)
I love that there's no "crisis" here, only "bliss." Very nice, indeed.

I enjoyed your blog! You are so talented to be able to sew. I can't even thread a needle - even with my reading glasses on. Please visit my blog, too. Thanks.

Sadie, come here girl for some loving. Good girl. such nice manners. Sit. good girl.
Now for a slice of that cake. I brought some tea to relax. Rose green tea, my creation. Rose jelly (instead of sugar) in a cup of green tea or if you would like black tea.
Very relaxing as the fragrance takes you back to a quiet corner of rose garden.
Goes great with your cake.
thank you
